Blind Spot Awareness

What is blind spot awareness?

Blind spot awareness is a sensor device that detects other vehicles in areas such as the rear and side of the vehicle, where the driver may not be able to see.

What does blind spot awareness do?

This feature will warn you if a vehicle or bike is coming too close to your vehicle, most likely by making an audible noise or showing an alert on the dashboard.

How does blind spot awareness work?

They monitor the right and left of your vehicle, especially the spots you’ll have trouble seeing. When a vehicle enters the blind spot, it alerts the driver by beeping, the beeps becoming increasingly louder and closer together the closer something is. In more modern cars, some will even have cameras installed so the driver can see what’s happening in their blind spots.
