Customer Service Agent
The Windscreen Company is seeking an enthusiastic, friendly and dedicated individual to join our Ipswich control office.
Our team has been providing leading windscreen repair and replacement services across East Anglia for more than 25 years, and this role will see you deliver a first-class service to our customers and help the business achieve its goals.
You will be responsible for answering phone calls, handling online enquiries and supporting all aspects of our day-to-day work.
You will be the person who interacts directly with our customers, helping book them in for jobs and handling any queries they may have about our process.
As such, we require someone who is proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, and who has a confident and professional telephone manner. You will also be provided with training in our bespoke job allocation programme.
Your Responsibilities
- A range of administrative responsibilities and tasks including booking in jobs, using IT systems and all other aspects of our day-to-day office work.
- Handling customer queries on the phone and via email.
- Representing The Windscreen Company brand, you will demonstrate leading customer service skills, good communication and a friendly approach when interacting with customers.
- This role requires a conscientious individual who can work off their own initiative and is willing to go above and beyond for our customers.
Your Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft applications like Word and Excel
- Able to work in a busy, high-paced environment
- Proven ability to work proactively
- Knowledgeable of the automotive industry is advantageous
- A confident telephone manner
