The Best EV and Hybrid YouTube Channels

As electric cars (EVs) continue to soar in popularity, many consumers have begun to turn to the internet to learn more about these types of vehicles.

We’ve previously outlined the most popular websites used in the UK when buying a new car, but there has also been an influx of YouTube channels providing viewers with insight and guidance on everything EV.

With so many different channels available, at The Windscreen Company, we’ve created a list of our best EV and hybrid YouTube channels which you can peruse at your leisure.

The best EV and hybrid YouTube channels

The automotive industry is one of the most talked about sectors in the UK, and there is so much content out there for people to consume.

While there is a wide range of channels that discuss automotive issues on the whole, we’ve selected the best EV and hybrid-specific ones that can provide you with everything you need to know about the industry’s biggest growing trend.

Fully Charged Show – 1.4m subscribers

The Fully Charged Show is perhaps the biggest EV channel on YouTube with a loyal subscriber base of over a million.

Fronted by Red Dwarf actor, comedian and all-round car aficionado Robert Llewellyn, alongside a rotating cast of automotive YouTubers, the overall mission of the channel is to educate people on the benefits of EVs and renewable fuels in the hope that we can one day reach a goal of no longer needing to burn fossil fuels to power our lives.

The Fully Charged Show also has its own podcast and has performed live shows in the UK, USA, Australia and across Europe.

CarGurus UK – 108K subscribers

If you’re keen on purchasing an EV but want to find out more about what’s available, then CarGurus UK is a channel worth checking out.

Founded in 2006, the channel utilsies a crack team of car testers who get behind the wheel of a whole host of new and second-hand EVs, providing reviews that outline the pros and cons of a wide range of vehicles.

Best Electric Vehicle – 14K subscribers

Best Electric Vehicle is another YouTube channel that is a great choice if you want to better educate yourself on the industry.

Providing videos on a whole host of industry-related topics, they describe their mission as ‘to debunk myths and false information which still circulates around the electric environment that slows the transition away from conventional cars’.

As well as EVs, they also provide content on other electrical devices like skateboards, segways and more.

Auto Domain UK – 1.3K subscribers

While it doesn’t have as many subscribers as some of the other channels on this list, Auto Domain UK still features plenty of helpful EV content.

An online marketplace for EVs and hybrid vehicles, as well as a place where you can watch videos on these products, Auto Domain UK will help you decide on the right EV for you as well as provide you access to the vehicles themselves.
