Tesla has led the way when it comes to manufacturing electric vehicles for more than 20 years.
Ever since the brand’s creation in 2003, it has been at the forefront of the electric car industry, creating a whole host of vehicles and selling products to customers across the world.
Here in the UK, the company has soared in popularity in recent years. This is particularly the case as more British drivers make the shift towards electric vehicles with the ban on the sale of new petrol and diesel cars that comes into force in 2030. In this article, we’ll take a look at some of the great events Tesla is putting on right here in the UK in the coming weeks and months.
Each year Tesla puts on a number of events across the UK, and 2023 is no different.
Let’s take a look at some of the things you can get involved with over the summer months.
Perhaps the biggest event taking place from Tesla in the UK this summer is the Electric Summer showcase. This year marks 10 years of Tesla selling its products in Europe, and to mark the occasion the manufacturer is hosting a variety of display events across the country.
In addition to providing people with the chance to learn about the benefits of owning a Tesla and financing options, some of the events will also feature drive-in cinemas and family activities.
The list of locations where Tesla’s Electric Summer is taking place includes:
Until the 30th of September, Tesla is also offering remote test drives of their Model Y and Model 3 cars from its Carlisle dealership. This gives potential customers the chance to get behind the wheel of a Tesla and experience all the features it has to offer without having to venture onto real roads.
If you’d prefer to get behind the wheel of the real thing rather than a remote test drive, then there are also a number of events offering just that. The Tesla Model 3 and Tesla Model Y are two of the brand’s most popular cars, and you’ll be given the chance to see what it’s like to drive them at Burton Waters in Lincoln on 11th August and The British Motor Show, Farnborough between 17th-20th August.
If you’d prefer to drive the Model S, there is also the opportunity to do this at the Tesla Centre in Reading until 20th August.
